warrior
she-cat

Appearance
Whiteshadow is a large, muscular she-cat. She is a rather short cat, more wide than anything. She has a substantial shape, with broad shoulders, but she is still rather lean instead of the rounder shape of a cobby.
Whiteshadow has long, thick white fur that has a brown tint along the back, leading to a long, feathery brown tail. Her fur is very soft and composed, typically very well groomed.
Whiteshadow has a rounded face with bluish-gray almond eyes. Her ears are small and a dark brown, slightly rounded at the tips. Her eyes are surrounded by a dark brown mask.

Personality
When you first come across Whiteshadow, you will see that she is a very confident cat. She holds her head up high and never expresses doubt in what she does. This makes her very reliable as when she supports something she believes in, she believes it to be right and sticks by it to the end.
On the down side, her confidence comes with a level of arrogance. Whiteshadow legitimately thinks she is always right, even though that is far from being true. She puts herself in charge, growing irritated when she does not get her way, and although she does restrain herself sometimes, she is also known for outbursts.
Whiteshadow is a very determined cat, and when she starts something, she sees it through. The one thing she hates most is giving up, so that is the last thing she will ever do. If it truly came down to it, although she would not wish for it, she would die before she gave up a fight.
While she is most certainly treasured for her determined nature, her stubbornness also comes at a cost. Whiteshadow is unable to accept when she has lost a fight, and will simply keep going beyond what is reasonable.
Whiteshadow is a very emotional cat, which is a good thing,as she never leaves you guessing. She isn't afraid of her emotions, and is willing to share them. So when she loves, she does so with all her heart, and this could make her a pretty good friend to have.
However, Whiteshadow can also be quite illogical. She has a tendency not to think things through, simply acting based upon how she feels in the moment. This is very reckless behavior to have, and it does often lead her into trouble, even if she does mean well by her actions.

History
Whitekit was born on April 7th to Ashenstride and Palefrost, along with her sisters Kestrelkit and Emberkit. From the day they were born, it seemed like the three kits were always competing. They would fight over milk, and later prey. They would spar and race. Always one of them trying to best the others. With Whitekit being the largest of the three, she had a bit of an edge when it came to strength. Emberkit had her intelligence to rely on, and Kestrelkit had her speed. Their mother would always praise the kits for their eagerness to strive, however it may present itself, while Ashenstride looked on with pride, watching out in case things got out of paw, but always enjoyed spectating as well.
As they got older, however, things started changing slightly. By this time, they had all become apprentices. Whitepaw had been given Addersting as a mentor, Kestrelpaw got Ivyfall, and Emberpaw had gotten Nettleglow. Addersting was a tough mentor, always pushing for Whitepaw's best, which she was happy to give. Kestrelpaw and Whitepaw were still as close as ever, and often trained together, seeing who their mentors favored most. But Emberpaw had branched off, favoring another apprentice, a tom named Stormpaw. Kestrelpaw and Whitepaw often shared jokes, teasing Emberpaw when they had the chance about her seeming crush she had found.
Stormpaw had been made a warrior a moon before the siblings, being named Stormhawk, thanks to his regal nature. A moon later, the siblings were named warriors as well. Kestrelpaw had been named Kestrelpounce, as she had grown to be a very good hunter. Whitepaw was named Whiteshadow due to her pride. And Emberpaw had become Emberdawn for her admirable wits. It was not long after they had become warriors that Stormhawk and Emberdawn had become mates, to no cats surprise, and they had two kits, a she named Morningkit and a tom named Olivekit. Kestrelpounce had elected to spend a lot of time with those kits since then, although also allotted time to be with Whiteshadow as well. Whiteshadow, however, was still slightly hurt that Emberdawn had seemed to move on from her siblings, so elected to keep her distance with the belief that she was unwanted by her sister.
With more time on her paws as she began to find herself more alone, Whiteshadow began to fill the gap by immersing herself in her duties. She went on nearly every patrol she was able, missing the ones that took place when her and Kestrelpounce hung out. She had also taken up the mantle of being a mentor to an energetic young apprentice named Berrypaw. She found out through this that she enjoyed being in control, opting to lead patrols more often, rather than simply joining them. However, she was left heartbroken when Berrypaw, only 2 moons into his apprenticeship, had wandered off and encountered a coyote. A search patrol had found him the next day, which had included Whiteshadow, and she was devastated. She found comfort in Kestrelpounce, and had even spoken to Stormhawk some, although she still avoided Emberdawn. Whiteshadow did eventually recover from her loss, but she would never forget what had happened.
