Song of the river at dusk
Tribe of Floating Stones
LONG-HAIR BLACK SMOKE SHE-CAT WITH GREEN EYES
to-be
she-cat
21 moons
Appearance
Song is a graceful contradiction to her sweeter nature. Long wisps of hair flow down the she-cat's stocky, well-muscular form. The black fades into silver along the mane of the neck and lower body, avoiding the legs. Underneath the large coat, she is more legs than body which adds to her long strides. Gentle green eyes set deep into her soft shaped face. A subtle reveal to her less aggressive personality, especially when she smiles. Though she tries to hold herself with pride and strength, her stance often falls into a more timid one. Especially around her mother.
Personality
+Family Oriented/ -Dependent
Song values her family and thinks the world of them. In her eyes, they can't do any wrong. Whenever she hears someone disagree, she will ferociously defend them. Even with illogical excuses or facts on the spot.
She idolizes her mother the most. In her mind, Blackbird gave her life and is among the wisest cats of her family. She would do anything to please her. This has hindered the young Song by causing her to question her own judgment and choices in life. Now she's heavily dependent on others for their feedback and views on her performance.
+Positive Outlook/Friendly
When life gives you bitter berries, you make the best of them. Song is always looking on the brighter side of things even during the darkest time. She believes her still born sister is living with the Tribe of Endless Life, with other members of her tribe. A life far better than what she endured.
Upon meeting new faces or challenges, she always keeps trying. This encouragement can become contagious among those who have met her. Often cheering and pushing those she cares for onward. She finds her strength in moral support most of the time rather than violence or aggression.
+Determined/ -Tunnel Vision
When Song sets her mind on a task, she puts her heart and mind into completing it. Even at the cost of tasks she feels are less important. Left unchecked, she will edge dangerously close to obsession when it comes to doing a good job. Even her siblings have found her tunnel vision annoying.
On the plus side, she isn't deterred by the challenges or hardships that might slow her down. Song will work relentlessly to overcome the problem until she finally reaches her goal.
-/+Unlimited Energy
Like the river in her name, an unknown force seems to pull at Song and draw her into motion. This is often shown in her inability to sit still for extended periods of time. When forced to, the energy turns inward causing her thoughts to drift. Many cats had chided her for letting her mind wander off while others found it amusing. Song, naturally, can't help it. Some times it's difficult to focus on a single thing for too long. She gets more satisfaction from physical achievements than mental ones. This is where she puts her boundless energy into its best use. It's never an erratic or sudden burst, but a slow and steady stream.

History
As a young kit, Song was born into a litter of four. Three healthy-even if Falcon didn't have a leg- and a stillborn, something she would learn later. Most days during her youth she just remembered she just ate, slept, and snuggled with her family. Nothing too exciting to tell.
When she grew older, the questions started to erupt. Instead of accepting the day, she sought the answers from her mother and her uncles, the older cats in her family.
This had been where she learned about her sister now traveling with the Tribe of Endless Life. No one could fully explain why, but they appeared to accept this fact and so did she. On the positive side, she hoped her sister had a happier life now. Song didn't want to dwell on the pain of the kit no longer being with them physically.
Most of her young moons, she spent with her mother, uncles, and siblings. She romped with her siblings, especially with her brother. Falcon would struggle to get the better of her causing her to let him win a lot. She didn't mind it. Song even encouraged him on, joined by her mother, during playtime.
Around the age of six moons, she asked the biggest question possible. Why didn't she have a father in the den? She had managed to sneak out and notice another male cat duck into a den. One filled with a small litter of kits and another she-cat. The scent didn't smell like a relative, not in the same way her uncles did to her. Her mother spoke bluntly, but with a kindness expected from a mother. Her father, the head stone guard, had his own den according to traditions. Then perked up her by stating she had her uncles and the rest of her family to support her. Not the answer she wanted, Song focused on this fact.
Maybe one day, she could gain and truly know her birth father. This motivation caused her to look forward to the day she would become a to-be then a stone guard.
