Rosepaw
RedWood Clan
Calico Cat with light markings with green eyes
Warrior
Female
Thirteen Moons
Appearance
Rosepaw has a slight muscular built structure, with a petite figure, a long-haired white pelt with light markings and bright green eyes. Her left back paw is declawed, her parents thought it was quite strange one of their kits was born without any claws. But it didn't seem to stop the cat from climbing, or using her back paws as a form of defense.
Rosepaw has a pure white base fur, with light tanned patches all over and almost a grey shade patches along her face and back. She has a diamond-shaped face, a light pink nose and pointed ears. Though she may be small, she doesn't let her height present her as weak. When she speaks, it comes out as a soft tone, almost sounding like a whisper.

Personality
Rosepaw "Rosie" is kind hearted and loving cat. Adopting a motherly personality to herself, making sure those before her are safe and doing well. Rosepaw gained these personality traits after her two-legged owner had an anxiety disorder, owning Rosepaw as her therapeutic cat. Because of this, Rosepelt made sure her owner was alright and made sure she was there for her in case she had a panic attack. Even though she wears her heart on her paw, Rosepaw can be very shy and timid towards strangers. But once she warms up, she's very bubbly and nurturing.
Since joining RedWood Clan, the young feline met cats that were welcoming towards her, as there were a few that felt a bit different of having a kitty pet as a member. A form of anxiety and insecurity filled the young cat's mind, nervous being around a fellow member. Afraid she may cross a line with them without realizing it, and may not like her.

History
Before Rosepaw was welcomed into RedWood Clan, she was known as Rosie. Though many would frown upon a cat living as Kitty Pet, Rosie did not mind it at all. She loved her owner and her two-legged family. Rosie was purchased at a local animal shop when she was just a kitten, and was trained by her owner, Bailey as a therapy cat. With Rosie, Bailey was able to go to school, go out to public events and speak in public. Without Rosie, Bailey couldn't survive a day without her cat. The family were somewhat upper class, Bailey's father was a lawyer and her mother was a school teacher. The family went on many trips across the country and world, including visiting their summer home in the country side.
One day, Bailey's father bought and boat and wanted to sail it at the lake near their summer home. And so, the bailey drove over and took the boat out on the waters. The weather was beautiful for the first hour, until an unexpected storm took toll. Grey clouds formed, as fog swarmed around the boat. Afraid, Bailey's father tried turning the boat back to the dock. But it was too hard to see, and the boat crashed into the large rock, killing Bailey's parents. Leaving Bailey and Rosie as survivors, they two went flying and landed into the cold water as the boat crashed. Scared, Bailey looked around and was happy to see Rosie swimming towards her. Picking her up, Rosie rode on her back as she swam towards an island. As they walked on to shore, the two took shelter at the abandoned camp grounds.
Several days, Bailey and Rosie tried surviving together on the island. Trying to protect Bailey from wild animals, and caught prey for them both. Even though Rosie felt helpless and didn't think either of them would survive. One early morning, Rosie went out on a morning hunt, proud of herself for catching a crow, and couldn't wait to show Bailey her catch. But when she turned, she found Bailey lying on the ground, lifeless. As she approached her, the teenager was mauled to death by a bear. Heartbroken, Rosie lied beside her owner's corpse, prepared to remain there until she died.
While sleeping, her ears twitched as they caught the sound of a twig snapping. Blinking, her eyes fluttered open as she caught the strong scent of fellow cats. Curious, yet hesitant, the feline followed the scent and met a small group of wild cats. Rosie was surprise to find cats on the island, and was very curious. And so, the cat followed the group of cats back to RedWood Clan, amazed to find others cats. There were so many questions popping through the young car's mind. Who were these cats? Where did they come from? And how could they survive on this island?
After getting to know the cats and their leader, Rosie was welcomed into the clan and earned her new name - Rosepaw. Training as an apprentice, getting to know the mentors that took their time to show her how to be a feral cat. And there were times she would seek advice from the warriors.
The first weeks were the toughest for Rosepaw. There were a few cats (very few) that were welcoming, while there were those that wanted nothing to do with her. "She's a KittyPet! She doesn't deserve to be part of RedWood Clan. She will destroy our bloodline." Those hurtful words angered the young cat, wanting nothing more than to prove those that she deserved to be a member and be an excellent warrior.
Although, living in the wild was an even bigger adjustment for the former KittyPet; Sleeping on grass or leaves instead of a cat bed beside a warm fire. It was all hard to process, but the cat grew very curious of their customs. Leaders, Elders, Medicine Cats, Star Clan, and other clans. It was hard to memorize everything, but it all sounded so fascinating to her. She wanted to learn more about these cats, and wanted to meet them.
Trying to erase Bailey from her mind was difficult. The cats did not want her to speak of her Two-Legged owner, nor want her to think of them. But, how could you not think of someone you've known since birth? Bailey was a part of her, and she was a part of Bailey. She was always there for her, the teenager was almost like her kit: Watching over her and making sure she was taken care of and happy.
There were long nights where Rosepaw would be haunted with dreams of Bailey's corpse. The tearful cries and the whispers of the Two-Legged, blaming Rosepaw it was all her fault. And the cat did believe it was her fault. If she had stayed close to her, maybe she could have saved her. Maybe, they would have survived together and got help somehow. Finally, Rosepaw learned to accept that it wasn't her fault, and couldn't control mother nature's actions. After nearly two months, Bailey became nothing more than a memory, putting her KittyPet life behind her and start a new chapter as a wild cat.
But, it hurt Rosepaw to know there was not much peace between clans. Rosepaw never thought she would ever fight a cat. Of course, there were times she had some fights with the neighborhood cats. But nothing extreme that left one of them to be dead.
While she's still trying to earn the respect from fellow clan mates, Rosepaw is slowly starting to get the hang of training, understanding some moves and tricks when it comes to fighting. But one thing she's proud of herself is improving on her hunting skills. "It's like playing!" She once told herself, being successful at catching birds and squirrels, always showing off with pride.
Only being with the clan for a few months, Rosepaw is still learning to adjust as a wild cat when it comes to fighting, hunting and interacting with clan mates. But, a part of her wishes she had always been a wild cat, realizing it seemed much better than living under a roof with Two-Legged. Either way, she hopes Finchstar does not regret letting her in...
