Auburnpaw
RedwoodClan
Ruddy she-cat with pale green eyes
Apprentice
Female
10 moons
Appearance
- As most cats of her Clan do, Auburnpaw has a large, muscular build. Most of her true power is hidden by pure fluff; to be fooled by that is basically signing a death sentence, and rest assured, that's the last thing you should want when facing Auburnpaw. In the early mornings, her pelt often looks as if it's on fire; especially when the sun hits it just right. Auburnpaw has a deep, reddish-brown coat with a few black areas that look as if they've been singed. Overall, she has quite the impressive appearance; it's certainly a sight to behold most of the time. Now, Auburnpaw’s eyes are something else altogether; at a pale green, they don't quite seem to fit with her ruddy fur, and they certainly give her more of an eerie tint to her otherwise fair appearance. Auburnpaw carries herself like royalty, though all it takes is one word from her to know that she most certainly isn't. That being said, she keeps her coat in pristine condition, and takes quite a bit of pride in the beauty of it. Auburnfeather has quite a fluffy pelt, as mentioned before, which keeps her warm during cold nights and doubles as something to keep her clanmates warm, too. She's pretty physical; chances are, she'll be more than happy to offer up warmth to share with them.
Personality
OUTSPOKEN. REBELLIOUS. FLIRTATIOUS. PASSIONATE. RECKLESS.
To begin with Auburnpaw’s personality, we should go to the heart of what makes her such a bold, brash cat. That, perhaps, would be a part of her being nothing but outspoken. Yes, Auburnfeather doesn't seem to care what anyone thinks of her as long as she gets to voice her opinion; and, to be honest, she has quite a few opinions. Equality is a big thing for her, and she gets frustrated when she doesn't feel heard, or when it seems as if her ideas are getting tossed aside. Why does she get so upset? That's a question to be answered in her history, but for now, we can assume that she's just a wild child. To be fair, Auburnpaw’s outspokenness isn't necessarily a bad thing; on the contrary, she prefers to use it to help others when they need it, but much to the chagrin of everyone around her, she often ends up in an argument rather than a discussion. Now, carrying on, Auburnpaw is quite the young revolutionary... or maybe, she's just plain rebellious. Despite others' best attempts to calm her, Auburnfeather has a natural skill for getting into trouble over the smallest things, of protesting things that don't necessarily need to be protested, and worst of all, of getting into arguments that don't concern her. Yes, if she believes that there's wrongdoing going on, she'll stick her nose into it; regardless of whether or not it belongs there. Now then, let's move on to another aspect of Auburnpaw’s personality; her flirtatious nature. Real, lasting relationships don't seem to be in the cards for her, but she'll flirt with pretty much anything that has a pulse. Sure, she may lean more towards toms, but who is she to deny a pretty she-cat the compliments they deserve? This may be the only time Auburnfeather sounds actually sweet, and for those who know her, it's somewhat of a chilling sight. She's not exactly known for her sweet, selfless personality, and yet here she is... acting as if she's the darling of the entire Clan. To be clear, Auburnpaw is far from detached from her emotions. On the contrary, when she does have feelings for someone, she's very passionate about them--but she'll never let it get any further than mild flirtation. After all, that would be tying herself down, and she wouldn't want to give in to what her mom wanted all those moons ago. So instead, Auburnfeather is determined to be as brash, as confident, and as flirtatious as she possibly can until her time begins to run out. Now to end, Auburnpaw does care very much about her clanmates and her Clan. As mentioned before, the things she cares about, she's very passionate about. Unfortunately, that passion isn't always expressed in the greatest ways, as proven with Auburnpaw’s recklessness. Yes, Auburnfeather has an unfortunate habit of getting herself into trouble for no other reason than pure impulse, especially when she sees a loved one in trouble. She'd die for them without a second thought, and let's be honest... with Auburnfeather, that's more likely than not. So to sum things up, Auburnpaw is quite the little spitfire, and while forming real, meaningful connections is something that she doesn't seem to be interested in, she's always up for a good time.

History
As a kit, it seemed Auburnkit was going to grow up to be one of the most playful, energetic cats around. She was much different in her younger moons, overenthuastic about life and ready to become the best Clan cat ever. That was before, of course, her father seemed to do a complete 180. He became overprotective of her and her siblings, Scorchedkit and Burningkit, and while Auburnkit didn’t know what was happening, her mother seemed to grow scared of him. Just before their apprenticeship, her father took her siblings and left in the middle of the night, leaving Auburnkit behind with her mother and a lot of confusion. Her apprentice ceremony was not a happy day. Her mother wouldn’t stop crying, and Auburnkit herself wanted the rest of her family there. Of course, they didn’t come, and eventually, she gave up hope that she was ever going to see them again.
Training was another matter; Auburnpaw practically threw herself into it, planning to give her all, to become the best and maybe, just maybe, if she could, her siblings and father would return. If she could show him that she could do this, that she wasn’t in danger, then maybe he would change his mind. They never came back. Auburnpaw didn’t know where they’d gone, and whenever she asked her mother about it, it would send the she-cat into a fit of hysterics that took far too long to get her out of, and was worse than not having the truth. So Auburnpaw stopped asking. She didn’t dare to ask anyone else; the embarrassment would’ve killed her mother, and she, while beginning to enter a more rebellious phase, wouldn’t have done something like that. She was too smart for that.
So instead, Auburnpaw began to act out. It was little things at first; she’d see a cat lazing around, ignoring someone, and she’d get in a fight with them, or she’d find out about a neglectful parent and go yell at them, and eventually, she got more and more passionate about the subject of families and loving them until she couldn’t stand anyong who dared to ignore their family. That, for her, was one of the worst things someone could do. She didn’t want anything to do with them, and yet, she couldn’t just leave them alone. She had to do something. She had to change their mind, to show them how unreasonable and awful they were being. So, Auburnpaw made up her mind. She could do this. She would go after cats who were awful and unreasonable, and she would make them listen. She wouldn’t let anyone grow up with a father like hers.
