The canopy above her head was far and few - new-leaf had come. As such, the delicate balance of springtime weather and the old winter crisp was in a struggle. It was not yet time for warmth, but also the season could not shake off the cold of the last. She stepped with concealed purpose, her eyes on the distance as she walked alone. The morning was upon land and with it a quick break before duties. No cat had called to her as she exited the camp so she assumed she was quite safe to just wander. Perhaps she would bring back some prey - perhaps she would join a patrol upon her arrival.
❝ LITTLEWATCHER of THISTLECLAN ❞
But in the end, she knew she would be forced into a conversation with her Clan about idle gossip eventually. They were not her mates by any stretch of the word; they were felines she happened to live with. If she was confident she could survive on her own, without any easy assistance, Littlewatcher was sure she would leave. Not religious, not loyal due to being born in the same community, the young cat went about her business by herself. She did not care what the others thought of her. Less so about climbing rank and gaining more respect. She rejected the idea of training an apprentice until one caught her eye. Power, however, remained seductive. She would seize a chance that happened - plain and simple.
A brief rustling in the bush nearest to her and she bit back a sigh. ThistleClan. One or two cats at most, depending on the fresh scent. She remained quiet as she waited for them to either reveal themselves or continue on their own merry way. There was no point shouting 'who's there? anyway. Lest she look like a fool she could not identify the cat's scent.
