Trickle of Water
Split from Stream
Tribe of Floating Stones
small and lithe blue spotted tabby she-cat
prey-hunter
afab
30 moons
Appearance
- A visibly Oriental she-cat, Trickle reflects the usual characteristics of the breed very strongly. Which is to say she's small, very small. She is dwarfed by most cats in height, and her build is very lithe and lean as well, making her appear distinctly un-impressive as far as sizing her up as an enemy. However, if sharp angles and long legs are your thing, Trickle is the epitome of attractive. She isn't just pretty, Trickle is a very, very agile and swift cat. Brute strength is anything but her forte, though. If a cat bigger than she manages to catch her, she's done for. But so long as she can keep moving and leaping, she's a skilled fighter. She's also an decent hunter with a penchant for hunting and successfully catching birds and fish, and is skilled with stealth. She functions best an ambush predator, be it in fights or hunting, but struggles with group hunts or being directly confronted without time to prepare and set herself up for success. (She is a prey-hunter and has been trained for that, this is just an overall overview of her traits in various areas as a reference for staff and myself)
- Trickle does struggle in the winter, as she has a very thin and short coat which only thickens slightly during leaf-bare. However, most of the time it doesn't bother her much. She is coated in pale blue-silvers, dotted with delicate brush strokes of darker coloring in tabby markings. She is unmarred by white markings, but her belly and other undersides are a cool creamy color. Her eyes are a pale and pretty green.
- Her head is sharply triangular with almond-shaped green eyes and large, pointed ears. Her features of her face, like all of her other features, are delicate and angled. Her eyes are surrounded by white, and her forehead bears a traditional tabby 'm'.

Personality
- Cunning
- Charming
- Capable of deeply morally corrupt actions
- Commitment Issues
A tiny cat with a big brain, Trickle has used her sharp-as-a-tack mind to push herself to excel as a prey-hunter and Tribe cat in general. She is both a quick thinker and a strategist and is constantly, to an extent, assessing all those around her, every situation. She is laid-back (and typically appears even lazy, despite the truth) as many Tribe cats are, but her mind is always, always working. However, she bears no anxiety about her choices or thoughts. She tends to have some commitment issues too, and while she is always happy to have a fling or two, she 'bolts' at the first sign of getting serious. She is a bit of a charmer, and tends to casually flirt with those older and around her age, even if not seriously interested in them. She tends to have commitment issues with platonic relationships as well, and may distance herself from friends and family on occasion, though she usually comes back. She does even worse if she feels trapped by a relationship, though, and if she truly feels 'suffocated' she will lash out with venomous words meant to cleave those ties entirely through, often with vicious accuracy. Trickle's morality is deeply grey. It isn't that she is an actively malicious or evil cat, not at all. She is simply apathetic to being a 'good' cat. If she felt the need to kill, maim or lie to achieve an end goal for her purposes or the purposes of someone she cared for, she would do so without hesitation or remorse. However, she is unlikely to do anything 'bad' unless she believes she can fully defend herself or get away with it. She is a very strategic cat and is thoughtful about her actions, good and bad.

History
- Trickle's tragedy starts right at her birth, when her mother (Stone Flecked with White) died while birthing her two kits. Trickle was nursed by another kit-mother, Coo of Dove at Midday alongside her two kits. Trickle's father was heartbroken. Trickle was not too affected by her mother's death-She never even had a chance to meet her. But as she grew, her father's (Heron Striking at Small Fish) grief did not abate. Instead, he decided to take his children, the last reminders he had of his mate, out of the Tribe, to find someplace safer as soon as they were weaned. As it was, he only took Trickle's brother (Leaf that Drifts Slowly Across Water) with him in the hopes of one kit being easier to feed and protect while he searched, telling Trickle he would return for her once he found someplace safe for them to live. Neither brother nor father returned, and Trickle was heartbroken. Coo and her mate were happy to welcome Trickle into their family, but a firm fear of being left behind had already been instilled. Still, she adopted the family as her own, even if she struggled with the idea of them leaving her one day too.
- Trickle's to-be time was when she let her grief and fear curdle and fester into a small but poisonous pit of anger and resentment toward her father. While it was likely he was dead, she assumed it was equally likely he'd found someplace safe and simply not bothered to return for her. Her early days as a to-be was an intensely tempestuous time as Trickle struggled to find herself amid her anger and hurt. Her mentor was a big help to her, and while she struggled with her family and her own commitment and abandonment issues, Coo and her family were the polar opposite of Trickle and happy to support and love her through her difficult time. It took a lot of work, but Trickle finally blossomed into a skilled prey-hunter, and a confident and smart she-cat as she graduated her to-be period.
- Trickle is a fairly young prey-hunter but she definitely shows promise. With her wits, speed and patience, she's an excellent hunter and she isn't too hard to get along with, so long as your personality meshes well with her own. She is deeply loyal to the Tribe and loves her family very much, and is settling into her role as a prey-hunter and mature she-cat very well.
