Honeysnap
redwoodclan
cream lynx point she-cat with light eyes
warrior
she-cat
37 moons
Appearance
Similar to her brother, Honeysnap boasts longer legs than most, carrying her taller than other cats in her Clan, although not enough so to stand out dramatically. Her body is slim, but hides muscles packed under her coat, particularly built around her legs and rump to help her in leaping through the branches of the high redwood trees. Honeysnap's claws are a little splintered at the ends given this activity, but she doesn't mind much, and they still aid her perfectly when fighting.
Like her comrades in her clan, Honeysnap's pelt, whilst short, is thick and dense, keeping her warm when the winters strike - although she still shivers most of the time. The furs thin out as they grow away from her body, leaving a small but very thick layer right next to her skin, which qradually fades with growth. Her paws, legs, face, ears and tail are colored a light ginger with stripes, a testament to her true colour other than her creamy pelt. Her eyes are a bright blue, although can appear to have tints of green in a dimmer light setting.
Unlike Loudstorm, Honeysnap's whiskers are straight, and they droop ever so slightly at the ends, as if the tips are weighted down by raindrops. Her eyes are an oval shape, with her nose being a light pink.

Personality
✓ Optimistic
Whenever things start to look a little grey, Honeysnap will jump in to try help cats to see the lighter side of their situation, getting her Clan through whatever way possible. She tries to avoid seeing the darker side of situations, instead focusing on the positives whenever possible. This aspect of her personality leads to her avoiding giving out criticism whenever possible, instead trying to give advice instead of negative comments. This doesn't mean she won't hate to punish someone who misbehaves, if it means they'll be better in future.
✓ Humble
One thing that seperates Honeysnap from the rest of her clan is that she is humble. She knows that RedwoodClan cats tend to boast a lot, but she doesn't much see the point, as it just frustrates the other cats from the clans. Instead, she keeps any boast about her Clan that she has mostly to herself, and often puts herself down. She can sometimes see herself an unimportant, though, in the overarching scheme of things.
✓ Protean
Versatility is how Honeysnap rolls. She doesn't like it when things are always set in stone, and will happily approach any challenge given to her, even if it frequently changes. She is able to keep up with it, adapting how she approaches situations with ease, able to see things in a different way if this is required.
☓ Enervated
Honeysnap may have a cheery personality, but to those closest to her, she is drained. She doesn't like to be so upbeat all of the time, and sometimes it tires her out. She never seems to feel rested. She doesn't let anyone see this other than those she is close to, so most would never fathom this. It isn't too bad currently, though.
☓ Arbitrary
Honeysnap will act on a whim without thinking, often going off of her gut even if it contradicts her own leader's orders. Her ability to swiftly adapt can help this trait, as she is able to drop one style of working and pick up another without batting an eyelid. This can end in getting her into some bad situations.
☓ Lazy
Don't put her on a morning patrol, if you want to keep your sanity.

History
Honeykit was born as the oldest of her litter of three, with two younger brothers named Crowkit and Loudkit. Roseclaw was a good mother, despite her struggles, and her father, Blacktail... she never knew him alive. She only heard stories of his heroic actions, and wished that he was alive to see them today.
Honeykit wasn't a quiet kit, often playing with Loudkit or poking her head where it didn't belong. Her mind flew around about the future almost constantly, and she entertained the idea of being medicine cat for the longest while. Eventually, she decided against it, and was apprenticed to the warrior Ambertail. She found out that she was a good hunter, being able to keep her steps light, and she was a decent fighter. Her skill, though, lay in the trees. She could fly between the trees as if she was a bird, keeping herself balanced perfectly. Prey rarely escaped when she hunted up there - it just wasn't very often.
One thing that did infuriate her, though, was Loudpaw. Since when had he gotten so obnoxious? He bragged about his fighting skills all of the time. She baited him to try attack that bear. The attack that crippled their mother.
Honeysnap always felt guilty for that day. It was the day she learned that cats respond better to positivity, as Loudstorm became a warrior despite that. It was the day that formed her into who she is today. [240 words]
