Tom
20 moons
Appearance - 211
Harechaser is a short, stocky tom, complete with a thick set of muscles. He is as stout as they come, and a bit of a strange creature when compared to other cats. His hind legs are a good deal longer than his front, which cause an almost comical slope to his silhouette, though the tom boasts his rabbit-like features, short, bobtail included, with pride. He could easily be mistaken for being slow with his thick body, but his powerful hind legs make up for his short size, allowing him to run with a more bounding gait that covers much ground.
Harechaser boasts a dark, classic tabby coat, with no white except for a few toes on his hind legs. His stripes and swirls are thick, really only prominent as tabby among his chest, lower rib cage, legs, and neck. His eyes are round, average for his size, and a sharp yellow-green like new buds in newleaf. Harechaser's ears are rather large, standing erect amongst his head like that, once more, of his name sake. He moves in almost bumbling manner, sometimes awkward on his paws. There is always a smile and a challenging glint upon his face; he's the embodiment of youthful pride.

Personality - 389
Humorous Goofball
Oh the many stories and escapdes this tom has. He's always looking for a good laugh, and to make others laugh. He has no qualms about playing an idiot and getting a laugh, even at his own pride's expense. On that note, Harechaser knows many don't take him seriously and he's often teased. He doesn't mind, really. Harechaser is comical to look at with the personality to match. It's his belief he's one of his clans sole normal cats.
Confident & Resourceful
Harechaser is confident in his abilities and has a bright mind that comes up with many hare-brained, unique solutions. He's resourceful and quick to take action. He's not so confident to be considered arrogant, though at times, he can skirt that line. But in the end, Harechaser is used to being the fool, so if his arrogance gets him a laugh or two, hey, he succeeded in something!
Troublemaker
Harechaser has quite the reputation in his clan. Due to his nature of always looking for a laugh, he seems to be a magnet for trouble and is the source of most pranks. He's an abysmal liar too, can't lie to save his damn life. Even when Harechaser really, truly isn't trying to cause trouble, it finds him. Seriously, if you want anything to go right, don't include him in it. Because it's going to go tails up in two seconds and he'll be at the center of it, pretty damn proud of it too. Trouble is on this tom like stink on skunk. Oh yea, I forgot, he's destructive, like...its going down in flames, by accident of course. But yea, it's getting yeeted, sorry. There's a running theory that the clan will be done in by him, Harebrain.
Impulsive & Judgemental
Ah, the impulsive nature of youth. Yea...have I mentioned he's an idiot who very much follows the thought process, "what does that do? let's find out!" He has no sense of self-preservation, and yet, despite his unfortunate habit of being at the center of it all, he never seems to truly get hurt. Whether this is a curse or a blessing, remains to be seen. Being raised by a traditionalist mother, Harechaser finds himself with a sharp tongue and judgemental tendencies.

History - 452
Kithood
Harekit was born the third to a litter of four, the only litter his parents ever had the chance to have. Harekit's father, Nettleclaw, passed away very shortly after his mother, Fawntail, discovered she was with kits. The two youngsters had made an unlikely couple from day one as apprentices, but nothing short of death could separate them. And sadly, in the end, that is indeed what did separate the two lover. Harekit grew up in a life where his mother was constantly plagued by post partum depression. He loved his mother and hated seeing her so sad all the time, so he grew up wanting to make her smile as often as he could. He grew up gregarious, often pulling his siblings into pranks and antics to make his mother smile, and thus the tom grew to love the idea of making someone laugh.
APPRENTICESHIP
Harepaw's bright and exuberant ways stayed with him throughout his apprenticeship. He learned to deal with bullies by joking along with them, learning that sometimes he was on the receiving end of the jokes, even his own. But he was fine with that honestly, if it meant making his grumpy clanmates smile at some point. It was about at 8 moons, that Harepaw's antics switched from being family oriented to clan. His final months as an apprentice really brought the prankster out of him; he no longer tried to make others laughs with jokes, he found a love for causing chaos. Mostly because chaos followed him without him meaning to cause it. He just learned to roll with it. During his apprenticeship, he became known for several pranks:
Harechaser earned his name in more ways than one, as well quite the slew of more than fitting nicknames. He's a brand new warrior intent on making a name for himself amongst the other clans now, not just his own. He has no intentions of giving up his troublemaker ways. mostly because it just tends to follow him without him trying!

- stalking Hawktail is his lifelong ambition. he must make her laugh
- left a rabbit in the warriors den...in the middle of the night...it wasn't dead
- ^^^^all part of his plan to receive his warrior name
- likes stalking patrols. dropping pinecones on them. has caused many a concussion because of this
- brought an angry swarm of bees back to camp screaming in absolute terror once (very first prank. went very, very, VERY wrong and resulted in him being confined to the medicine cat den for a quarter moon)
