The two words one would use to describe Indigoheart would probably be tall and imposing. At a staggering 13”, he is tall, even by RedwoodClan standards. And not only is he tall, he looks to be extremely muscular and broad shouldered.
Looks being the key word there.
Indigoheart isn’t particularly broad shouldered, and while he’s muscular, it’s hard to tell he is because it is more lean muscle than anything else. He is extremely strong yes, but not as strong as some cats think.
Indigoheart is fluffy. Very fluffy, to the point where he can probably smother you in his pelt if he wanted to. He is so fluffy that getting soaked to the bone usually means hours of being groomed to get his fur dry on a good day, and if it’s cold out? It may take him the entire day.
Which is why it is really nice that the top layer of his fur is water resistant. It’s not foolproof, and he will eventually become soaked if he is submerged for too long or if he’s in hard enough rain, but he has rarely had to face conditions like that.
On top of his already extreme fluff, Indigoheart has tufts of fur on his absolutely massive paws, tufts of fur on his ear tips, and a thicker ruff of fur around his neck. His tail is long and plumed as well. His cheeks sport large tufts of fur as well.
All of this makes him incredibly soft and huggable. It also means he has to spend quite a while grooming daily in order to prevent any mats from forming. Often times, he has to enlist to help of his brother to chew off mats that have formed where he cannot reach.
His coat is black, with white hind paws, white front toes, a white, oval shaped dash on his chest, a white throat and chin, and a white dash on his muzzle. This makes him extremely good at night hunting.
Indigoheart has green-gray eyes that, under the right light, may appear to be a sort of silver. His muzzle is broad, and it is usually extremely hard to tell what Indigoheart is feeling, as his facial expression rarely changes much. He just isn’t very expressive. At least in his body language.
Most of the time, this leads to cats thinking he’s mad or angry at them, as his neutral expression is much more akin to a frown.
