milkweedkit
redwoodclan
black mackerel tabby tom with green eyes
kit
male
5 moons
Appearance
Though he only stands on three good legs, Milkweedkit, like the tom who sired him, will eventually grow out of the gangly legs he possesses in youth and into a form tall enough to tower over even his naturally larger Redwoodclan peers. The tom will never fill out into proportions quite as burly as that of Tigerpool, but will still maintain the ability to pack on muscle more effectively than either of his sisters or his mother—once fully grown, he'll lay claim to the massive build that is considered the golden standard amongst the mighty forest cats he resides with.
Milkweedkit's hopping gate will effectively prevent him from ever becoming a truly valuable hunter—given that his missteps are likely to scare away any and all prey—but he has the potential to be a genuinely exemplary fighter; this argument is only made more convincing when you take into account the broad shoulders he'll grow into from relying more on his front paws than the average cat would.
His pelt, like his father Tigerpool's, is short and mackerel tabby in design, the hairs packed tightly together in a soft, thick layers. His coloring, however, more closely resembles his mother's warmer hues—the rich ambers and browns of his face fading into cooler shades as you progress toward his tail-tip. Milkweedkit's face is thin, his snout tapered and narrow as Robin-nose's is, with high, regal cheekbones resting prominently in his visage and a spray of short, white whiskers sprouting from a ruddy, coral nose.
A pair of shockingly wide eyes complete the picture; Milkweedkit's stare is as vibrantly green as the first shoots of new-leaf grass pushing their tentative presence up from under the dreary dull-white of the late-leaf-bare snow.

Personality
In the intelligence department, Milkweedkit takes after his father—that is to say, he isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
Though he may not be predisposed to the more intellectual arts of devising grandiose plots or elaborate schemes, these deficiencies are compensated for by an effortless wealth of social intelligence; the tom is a natural born leader, his down to earth, straight shooting way of speaking, producing a disarmingly old-fashioned charm.
Milkweedkit isn't shy about speaking his truth, wearing his thoughts and feelings on his proverbial sleeve—this trait graces him with an aura of steadfast reliability which renders him an easy cat to confide in and an even easier one to trust.
Raised in a bubble by two parents desperate to shield their offspring from the cruel realities of the world, Milkweedkit's youth will be an idyllic affair, quite possibly the only time in his life that his missing limb won't bother him in the slightest. This confidence in himself borders on naivety, and the tom is in for a rude awakening when he's indoctrinated into the real world and forced to find his own place in the twisted society he calls home.
