MarshPaw
Redwoodclan
long-haired cream cameo with brown eyes.
Apprentice
cisgender male
6 moons
Appearance- MY MOMS SICK SHE'S IN A HOSPITAL BED
Despite the circumstances for his birth, Marshpaw is actually quite big. He grew to be his mother's height when he was only five moons old, granted she was rather tiny. His size probably came from his father's side, since his father is quite large. Marshpaw is growing rapidly as he ages more and more, and he garaunteed to become one of the more larger of the clan.
Marshpaw's fur is light in color and patchy. It looks like he's white from afar, but up close one can easily discern his creamy colors and stripes. His fur is long and soft, and it makes him look like a giant toasted marshmallow! When he cleans himself he is super neat about it so he always has a nice pelt.
Marshpaw's face can be described as round. He has very fluffy cheeks that hide his angular stature, but it's there. He looks proud and powerful, and his gaze is sharp enough to prick anyone's fur. He looks like he has a permanent scowl because of the way he peeks at others through his eyelashes, though in all honesty he is a handsome man. He took after his mother and her beauty.

Personality- I'VE GOT A WORD FOR ALL YOU GHOSTS IN HER HEAD, AND ALL YOU SKELETONS IN HER CLOSET
Bold and Persistent: Marshpaw never let's anything get him down. He fights for what he wants, and is always a strong contender. He's persistent. If he's not #1 then he will keep going until he wins. He's stubborn in that sense too, but in a good way. It adds to his bold personality. He is always in the spotlight, whether that's in a good way or in a bad way. He is a bit of an attention-seeker admittedly, always looking for people to love and respect him like he does his dad.
Obsessive and Reckless: His stubbornness is usually a good thing, but when it gets to the point that he becomes obsessive then it turns into a problem. when I say this boy will do anything to be on top, I do mean anything. He would fight a pack of wild dogs on his own if he were dared to, and he wouldn't complain or back down from it either. He's reckless, wild, and a bit on the crazy side.

History- LEAVE HER ALONE, LEAVE HER ALONE PLEASE
Marshkit was born to two warriors with the names Honeybee and Perchfang. Honeybee was always a sickly cat, and Perchfang was interested in her since they were apprentices. Something about her just always stuck out to him, like a flower in the snow. She was beautiful, despite being so thin and ill. She had "glowing fur, like the sun blessed her with its radiance" as Marshkit's father would say. Elders and senior warriors looked upon their youthful love with a happy expression. They were always apart of the clan gossip as the cutest pair of lovers. When Honeybee announced her pregnancy though, well, everyone looked upon her pitifully. "She won't make it," they would tell Perchfang. "Keep an eye on her, Starclan will take her soon."
It was to everyone's surprise when she was going through her labor and only one kit popped out, no more. Not only that but Honeybee actually survived her labor. She was horribly weak afterword but she survived. That was all that mattered to Perchfang, who had worried so much he became obsessed with his clan duties. Perchfang was the kind of man who worked whenever he was plagued with stress. When he thought he was going to lose his beloved Honeybee he set out to take care of her, and his clan. When she survived it was a huge weight off his chest, but by then the clan was already expecting a lot from him. He turned his tail from his lover to please his clan, which was a bad mistake on his part. He just wanted to please everyone though.
Marshkit spent a lot of his childhood away from his mother. She was always off in the medicine den and he grew up around cats who weren't his siblings. He grew up to be bold, abrasive, and brash. No one knew what to do with him as a kit because he was always somewhere causing trouble. What made him grow to be like this? Well, everyone was always worried for his health because of his mother. They spoiled him, protected him, and saw him as weak. But he didn't want to be seen as weak! He was strong just like his father.
Marshkit saw Perchfang as a powerful and brave warrior. Someone who always protected his clan no matter what. He didn't believe in the gooey romantic love stories everyone told him, only in what he saw. Which was a strong warrior. When Marshkit's mom came back from the medicine den to take care of her one and only son Marshkit was thrilled. He had her to protect now! He was no longer the weak or sickly one. When other kits got annoyed by his mother's shallow breathing or the way her eyes glazed over he would pummel them. He was known as the bully of the den for his actions. He was just protecting his mom! What was so wrong with that?
Then came his apprenticeship. His mother was moved back to the warrior's den and he moved in with the apprentices. He felt like an outcast, all alone because of his actions as a kit. No one wanted to be his friend, and as he saw everyone else who has trained longer and harder than him he realized he was once again one of the weakest. That really bugged him, so he became hostile and angry towards everyone. He bullied them for the smallest of things, and made fun of anyone who was weak. One can imagine that he did not make a lot of friends this way.
