Appearance
Pricklekit is a sturdy little thing. Though his frame itself is not terribly large, it shows the promise of a well-muscled future. His stout frame is rounded with youth and it looks like he would go rolling away with little more than a firm shove. As he grows into his broad shoulders and large paws, something that he will always find lacking is height. But he doesn’t need to be tall to win his battles.
One look at Pricklekit’s unruly pelt, flecked through with shades of gray and white and every silver in between, and it will be easy to tell to whom this kit belongs. A miniature echo of his father, Bristlefur, Pricklekit does not feel the need to take more time than necessary to keep his ragged pelt in order. The thick fur sticks out in every direction. Although it always has a bedraggled appearance, in actuality it is rarely ever matted. After all, one has to have their dignity, even if it is in small ways.
A permanently furrowed brow and short, broad muzzle gives Pricklekit an appearance of a permanent frown. This is not far from reality, but even when he smiles, it has kind of a sour note to it. Large yellow-green eyes sit in the center of his face, half hidden under his brow. His already wide face is made to seem even wider because of long whiskers and cheek fur that frames his face in a wild mane.

Personality
Determined | Bold | Bull-headed | Cocky | Holds grudges
There are no challenges as far as Pricklekit is concerned, only things that he hasn’t done yet because he hasn’t felt like it. Once he sets his mind to something, whether it is something he’s meant to be doing or not, there is very little that can deter him from his goal.
Bravery comes in many different ways. Without the brains to back it up, it can come across as reckless and needlessly risky. Pricklekit is brave, but he very rarely thinks things through and it will certainly get him into a lot of trouble in his life. He thinks that ‘using his head’ means charging head-first at whatever the problem might be and, sometimes literally, use his thick skull to crash through anything that stands in his way.
Being the son of the deputy, Pricklekit thinks himself the most important cat of the Clan. At least he’s sure this is true among the younger cats. After all, without an heir, his father stands to lead LichenClan next which makes Pricklekit himself the next next leader. Somehow, he knows better than to say this out loud. Some of his mother’s teachings of manners managed to penetrate his head, at least enough to keep him alive in the cutthroat society of LichenClan. That said, though, with prickly Bristlefur to hide behind, he enjoys pushing his boundaries and seeing what he can get away with with cats that don’t want to go against the deputy.
Pricklekit doesn’t take perceived betrayal well. If he thinks that a cat has done something to wrong him, he holds tight to that hurt, possibly forever. He does not forgive and he does not forget.

History
Pricklekit was born to LichenClan deputy Bristlefur and warrior Cricketcall. He was the youngest of three kits, following his sister, Shrikekit, and brother, Wildkit, into the world in the middle of the night. Minnowstar’s kits Heronkit, Pikekit and Perchkit were tucked in among his own littermates and so two siblings became five. The only way Pricklekit has ever know is to be one of six. Despite his smaller stature, he considers himself to be the leader of his siblings and enjoys bothering his littermates and trying to get them all into trouble.
