Appearance
Gullheart is a light brown tabby tom. He has a thick black stripe that follows his spine from the back of his head to the very tip of his tail. There are thin black stripes that curve down from his spine and fade to a dull gray before reaching his belly, which is almost a cream color. Black tabby stripes wrap around both his front and back legs that stops before his paws.
In short, Gullheart has a larger than average head compared to most of his clan mates. His forehead attains the distinct “M” tabby mark that blends into the black stripe onto of his head. Many mistake his eyes as yellow, but upon closer inspection they are a pale leaf green color. His gaze is warm and welcoming, which encourages others to engage in conversations with him.
Gullheart is a little on the plump side. This is due to his lack of skills in both training and hunting; which makes him one of the worst warriors that the Redwoodclan had ever produced. Yet, with his easy nature and knack of making friends with everyone in the clan has many turning a blind eye towards this issue.

Personality
Sociable – Gullheart is adore and respected by his clan mates. This excludes his sister, Robin-nose, who despised Gullheart’s presence since kit hood. The tom usually spends his free time-sharing tongue among the edge of the camp’s clearing. His friendly and laid-back personality draws others to him. Small talk comes easy to him and his ability to read others allows him to say exactly what they need/want to hear.
Clumsy – Where he excels in communication, he lacks in pretty much everything else. The tom is in fact one of the worst warriors that the Redwoodclan has ever produced. Gullheart is usually seen tripping over his own paws during training due to his lack of hand-eye coordination. The tom spends most of the training sessions pinned in submission by his opponent. After training, the tom is usually seen cleaning thick layer of dirt from his coat. Unlike his sister, Robin-nose who's skilled in hunting, Gullheart finds himself struggling. This is due to the fact that he’s too heavy on his feet and was never able to judge when to pounce.
Competitive – Gullheart is very competitive. Especially when it comes to competing against his sister. His attempts at hunting and fighting are almost comical with how poorly executed they are. Many assume that he doesn't put a lot of effort in his attempts, but in reality he is.

History
Gullheart was born to Fawnheart and Thrushface. He had a littermate, a loud and troublesome she-cat, named Robinkit. From the very beginning the two kits were completely opposite. As Gullkit excelled in engaging in casual conversation with little effort, Robinkit struggled. This allowed Gullkit to come off as a charmer and was soon adored by everyone, except for Robinkit.
At six moons, Gullpaw and Robinpaw were assign mentors. Robinpaw's mentor was the young huntress Owl-leaf; while Gullpaw had Elmgaze, a senior warrior that was on the verge of retiring to the elders' den. Though the older tom was wise beyond his years, he was physically not up to training Gullpaw. Most of their lessons involved a drawn out story about Elmgaze's past or telling him what to do. Very little physical training was ever done during these sessions.
The day that Gullpaw saw how far behind he was from the other apprentices was the day that he snapped at Robinpaw. They were returning from a hunt in which Robinpaw had crushed him in the fresh kill count. As her gloating meows echoed throughout the camp, Gullpaw's tail twitch in annoyance. “No one cares, Robinpaw. Starclan, you’re so annoying,” he muttered retreating to his nest to escape from her taunting.
Gullpaw knew deep down that his skills were not up to the standards of passing the final task. His tail twitch with nerves as he watched Robinpaw slip away into the underbrush without a word. He turned around and with one last flick of his tail disappeared deeper into the woods.
Gullpaw's efforts came up short. Robinpaw had returned with a haul of fresh kill and Gullpaw returned with a single feeble mouse. That night Gullpaw watch with jealousy as his 'baby' sister received her new name before him. He couldn't bring himself to congratulate her on her new status, while he was stuck as an apprentice.
The following month after the humiliation, Gullpaw took his training in his own paws. He convinced other's to allow him to join in with their lessons as Elmgaze insisted on cancelling. Though his skills got better, they were still below average. Yet, this was enough to get him through the next big hunt.
Gullheart bowed his head as he accepted his warrior name and sat in silent vigil until sun rise, content.
