MOTHPAW
lICHENCLAN
lARGE golden she-cat

Female
8 moons
Appearance
Large and strong, Mothpaw is one of the biggest apprentice's in Lichenclan. With a powerful build. Her muscles can be seen under her pelt. She seems to be born to fight
Mothpaw's long pelt is light cream, almost yellow. She has darker maceral tabby markings that start from her back and curl to an end at her paws. She has lighter white markings on her chest, belly and tail.
Mothpaw's face is round, with a long snout. Her ears are long and pointy, each with a little tuft of fur on the tip. Her cheek fur sticks out, usually neat and groomed to look as well as she can. She has tired olive green eyes, usually have closed with bags under them. Its the one hint Mothpaw isn't as ok as she seems.

Personality
Caring,Loyal
Mothpaw can't help but care about others. Even though she tries not to show it she can't stop herself for sticking up for cats smaller then her or helping others in need. She has a big heart.
Mothpaw is very loyal, when she loves someone or something she will stick to it. She will never betray those she loves and will stick to the very end for that cat.
Cynical,Gloomy
Mothpaw struggles with seeing the good in things. She wants them to be but so far she's felt hopeless about everything. She expects the worst out of a situation or cat. If she does see the good its often back handed to be bad still.
Mothpaw isn't depressed but she's not a happy cat. Often she's sad or gloomy, not showing a lot of excitement or motivation in most things. She can sometimes bring down the mood, even when she doesn't mean too.

History
Mothkit and her siblings were born into a normal, and happy family. With a loving mother and father, a strong support system and strong believe in Starclan, they seemed like you're stereotypical perfect family. Mothkit took the leader role for her two siblings . She would teach them things, helped them, or was seen leading games with her siblings and friends, Driftkit and Flurrykit. They're families were close and Mothkit considered them both best friends.
Her kithood was perfect, she had supportive and loving friends and family, was a strong and capable kit blessed by the stars. Everything fit in line, until the day it crumbled
Mothkit's problems started when her mother became ill. What was just a cough escalated into a full blown sickness and she was sent to the medicine den to be quarantined. Things only got worse with rising tension between clans. Herbs were low, and now theyre was talk of war.
Only a few days before her apprenticeship was the battle. Mothkit was their to watch her father leave, only sharing a few quick words before he was gone. That night when the warriors were back, Mothkit was told her father had been killed in battle. It completely broke Mothkit, but it hit her mother even worse. Mothkit and Deerkit tried to comfort her. But their wasn't much they could do. A couple mornings later she was told she'd died in her sleep peacefuly. She was told it was just Starclan's way, everything had a purpose. But things got worse, as she was told she was in an arranged marriage with her friend, Driftkit "They were going to tell you when you became an apprentice. But they didn't get the chance" now Mothkit was left taking care of her sibling, dealing with becoming mates with her friend, a friend she wasn't sure she could love that way, and her faith was split. It was like the ground was crumbling under her.
Mothpaw got her name a few days after. What was supposed to be a happy occasion became somber. Mothpaw had no time to grieve, she had no time to cry. She had to stay strong and help her sibling, her friends and her clan. She tries to distract herself by hanging out with Flurrypaw like old times, but even that causes layers of stress due to how different the she-cat is now. So she throws herself into her apprenticeship. She's terrified of confronting her grief, so she pretends its not there. But she knows she's on a thin line, and no matter how much she pushes it back she can feel the stress of the situation building.
