Hello there! My name is Cove, I am an adult-ish female in her late 20's.
I currently work part-time in cosmetic retail and have a general Associate's Degree, no it's not super impressive but I realized a bit later "traditional school/college" isn't my thing. I hope to at some point, sooner rather than later would be ideal, go to Cosmetology school. I want to obtain a license in hair and make curly hair my primary focus. Fun fact: I have curly hair, spent most of my life hating it, and it hasn't been until the last 2 years or so that I've grown to love my curls. To me this was rather sad, and couldn't imagine someone else hating a physical aspect of themselves so much for so long, so I dream of sharing my love of curly hair/helping other's embrace their natural texture/waves/curls/coils.
I basically just gave you a mission statement...my apologies. Moving on...
I am a Harry Potter NERD. Team HufflePuff! Fan of Avatar the Last Airbender (actually watching it as I type this). Make-up, Skin care, and Perfume enthusiast/collector/junkie. Despite loving all things beauty related, I'm actually low-key. I enjoy yoga and recently got into weight training, but still a total newb. I collect crystals. I don't have any pets of my own yet, but get my pet fix from my boyfriend's cat and my best friend's 5 cats and 1 dog.
I started role-playing I think around age 12-ish, and did so for 5+ years. Like most people I fell off when I went to college, despite trying to keep up with it. I've dabbled on various sites, but nothing stuck or felt like "home." My boyfriend totally supports me pretending to be a cat on the internet, he's awesome!
I sometimes seem shy, and I'm really quiet until we find common ground. A tad awkward in social situations, but weirdly enough make friends pretty quickly.
I love coffee, chocolate and carbs!

Hi Cove! Welcome to cat land! I'm also an adult lady in her ... wow ... late 20s haha! I just turned 26, so I guess that officially makes me in the late 20s crew B) I works as a professional writer/editor for one of the big 10 universities, which is a fancy way of saying that I write a LOT of emails lmao. But! I LOVE cosmetics from hair to makeup, so that's super cool that you want to professionally pursue it some day! and what a mission! I don't have curly hair myself, but my best friend rocks an awesome head of insanely curly hair, and i'm very aware of her curly-headed woes (in terms of finding a good stylist to cut her hair). I'm not too big into Harry Potter! but I know our good friend @dreamer is a big fan  otherwise, YES! to ATLA. LOVE ATLA. I also recently got into weight training (i'm in 9 months strong now hehe), and I really like it so far! I used to be a distant runner, so it's been quite the change-up for me, but i love it nonetheless. I also *try* to be into skincare, but i still feel like a skin newb, so if you have any hot recs for someone with oily skin, i'm listening!! Hehe having supportive partners who don't quite understand the need to pretend to be a cat but support you anyways are the best. that's how you know it's real  I look forward to writing with you and all of the characters/plots you bring to the site! we're a lot more active on the discord, in terms of chatting and messing around like big idiots, so def feel free to jump into the chat there as well! We're glad to have you here!!

Hi Cove! It's nice to meet you. I'm Maxx :-) Please be proud of your associates degree OMG !!! success is so personal and relative. I have friends with Ph D.'s, I have friends who never got their GED. Your merit is amazing and it sounds like you have so many beautiful goals ahead of you! Also. I'm sure you HAVE to get this a lot but as a general straight haired gal, I am jealous!! of your curls! The volume like a;sdlfkjasd;lfjdsafds. yessssss. It's so cool you took that experience and it has helped become a driving factor in your "mission statement" and who you want to be! It's super cool you're into perfume and cosmetics. I love cosmetics but understand probably the bare minimum other than how to draw a few wings of eyeliner and not look dead (eternal raccoon eyes), but looove to hear people talk about it. I also just started wearing perfume and I'm curious what about it interests you? like, different scents for different occasions? Idk. Why do you like perfume I want to know what there is to know! Fellow fan of ATLA (fire nation >: ) This is just a hunch, but I think your interest in wanting to extend and find common ground is probably why you make friends pretty quickly  idk, just a guess. Because after hearing you like coffee, chocolate, and carbs, I'm already on the same page. Can't wait to plot and roleplay with you Cove! |

HUFFLEPUFFS UNITE!!!! I am also a big Harry Potter Nerd as Wish gladly pointed out! lol I will have to share my "Hufflepuff Shrine" as my parents call it with you sometime.
I think it is awesome you are focusing on your curly hair! I have wavy/light curled hair and have always struggled with it, but I am too are starting into better ways to take care of it. I might come to you for some pointers at some point.
