CHIVEPAW
REDWOODCLAN
A SHORT SILVERY TABBY SHE-CAT WITH BLUE EYES
Medicine Cat Apprentice
She-Cat
Six Moons
Appearance
Chivepaw is a smaller she-cat who hasn’t grown out of her kittenish shape. She’s a tiny soul, small for the rest of her clan, with curly silver locks patterning her body. She is incredibly fluffy, even in the summer months.
Chive is a little bit more rotund than your average Redwoodclanner, but don’t mistake her body shape for anything bad. Chive has thick legs, and a finely shaped head that makes her look almost regal in a way. She takes rather dainty steps, and has a high step that almost makes her seem like she’s prancing in a way. She has large eyes, and sharply shaped ears. She is proportionately great, nothing to really grow into besides maybe her paws and tail.
Chivepaw has a massive tail, silvery in color, cut across with tabby stripes. It is almost as long as she is, soft and plush and tipped in white. She doesn’t seem to know what to do with it, as it often drags behind her. As she grows older, she will grow into it.
Her coat is a soft silver, plush and thick to endure the long leafbares around the area. White coats from her chin down, sweeping down her chest and belly, and tipping her paws and tail. She has dark tabby stripes, crisscrossing her body and legs. She has wide, crystal blue eyes, wide with the wonder of the world.
Personality
Chivepaw is rather young still and sees the world in a light that only the young believe.
The young silver tabby is bouncy and eager, always ready to go and learn. She is a voracious learner, who adores the world and all it has to offer. It’s so exciting to her, after being stuck in camp for six whole moons with only the other kits to keep her any sort of company. She loves being the medicine cat apprentice, and is smart enough to remember herbs while being young enough to think of new ways to utilize them.
But, Chivepaw isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. She’s incredibly anxious, and rather naive, panicking over the slightest things going wrong, and believing every cat has good in their heart somewhere. She is rather introverted and shy, and sticks to herself more often than not. She doesn’t speak a lot, only talking to her mentor and the cats in her dreams, maybe her family if she seeks them out. She is an open book emotionally, everything spread across her face. She can’t stand any rudeness, and any sort of harsh words tend to either rile her rather impressive temper, or send the young she-cat into sobbing fits that last for a little while. When anxious, she feels almost like her jaw is wired shut, and she tends to shut down more often than not. She has a bad habit of dancing in place when nervous or excited. Chivepaw is very very bad under pressure and shuts down often if pushed to the brink.
Shes young, and barely out of the nursery. Her personality is subject to change as she grows more confident and learns more about her world, and how to interact with the cats in the waking world instead of her dreams.

History
In Chivepaw’s family, it is customary to name at least one kit a generation after their great great great great grandmother, Chivewillow, who was a brilliant warrior and dedicated completely to the code. Chivepaw’s mother was the lucky kit that generation, as gentle Chivesong was as dedicated to the code as her forefathers and anyone in Redwoodclan. She was rather young when she met Swallowstep, another Redwoodclan warrior, born of a half clan relationship. Both young cats fell quickly in love with each other, and as time went on, they became mates, and grew to love as fiercely as they loved the code. It was only natural that at some point, they would desire a family as well.
Chivekit was born smaller than her siblings, but was born first. As such, she became that generation’s Chive. She was a soft hearted kitten, with a quiet demeanor that her parents tried to break her out of, with little to no luck. She had a good spirit to her but all in all...she didn’t get out much. Instead, she made friends with the cats that appeared in her dreams. They were harmless, with bright smiles and dancing paws and everything in between. She never told her family about her rendezvous with the cats in her dreams, but she came to love them as much as she did her clan.
She was six moons before she knew it, a milestone she was happy to reach, but nervous as well. The cats in her dreams whispered encouragements in her ears, willing her forward into the ceremony she had been dreading this whole time. But it was not for her, as a voice interrupted the ceremony, and Chivepaw found herself now apprenticed to the medicine cat of Redwoodclan.
She hopes she’s just as good as the other medicine cats.
