Skulk of
Vicious Foxes
Tribe of Floating Stones
Long-haired dilute tortoiseshell they-cat with golden eyes
To-be
Nonbinary
6 Moons
Appearance
Their mother and father were a Cave Guard and a Prey-Hunter respectfully, and as such Skulk of Vicious Foxes got a mixture of both of their traits. From their mother they got their tall frame and long, sweeping tail that kept their mother warm in the cold leafbare nights. However, much of their lack of bulk came from their father, who supported a lean and wiry build, and long legs to keep themselves nimble and graceful among rock and cliff. Dainty paws and long black claws dig into the ground underneath them. Their whiskers are short and white, keeping them on their toes while navigating in the dark.
Their pelt was a mottled mixture of pale gray-brown tabby and dark gray, almost black, tortoiseshell. Their face is a black mask that dappled down to her pale bright tale, ending in a pure white tail tip. Dark tabby stripes cross along the tabby patches like jagged claw marks. Their diluted, dulled colours give them an easy way to blend into darkness and shadows. Their wide-set, round eyes are the colour of dark amber, like an evening fire smoldering into embers and ashes.
Their voice is calm, yet unsettling flat. It seems to carry across the clearing of their camp, or large dens with ease despite how low they keep it. It's the type of voice that demands to be listened to and will not take no for an answer. Their ears are rather large, already nicked by a nasty fall when they were still a kit, and mimic their father's prey-guard ears. Their nose and paw pads are patched with dark gray and coal black.

Personality
Skulk differs from the standard representation of a Tribe cat in a few ways, yet then fits into their trademark traits to the letter. Having been raised by their cave-guard mother, who held a vast appreciation for the teachings of the earth and sky, Skulk has become a budding religious zealot, keeping an ear out for any sign that the world can tell them of things real and imaginative. But this zealotry at a young age came with some drawback. They are so fixated and counts the Tribe's beliefs as the highest form of being that anyone who would focus on lesser things become an object of pity for the cat. As well, they have a high intolerance for cats who express a different belief. The word of Tide has more merit to it than spirits in the stars that don't even explain things properly.
Secondly, others have noticed how relaxed they are in the face of any turmoil. While others would worry or show bits of anger, they have a noticeable streak of calm words and an almost peaceful aura if one believes in those sort of things. Come thunder or fury, nothing can mock the tranquil vibes this cat is letting off. However, this still-pond attitude has the unwanted effect of making them a rather reserved feline. They seem almost impossible to approach, and have trouble showing their emotions. They evade even speaking on how they feel, or at worse, act on their impulses for their last undesirable trait.
For those who are in her good graces and walk among the Tribe's pawprints, the last good trait one can really gleam from Skulk is their agreeable nature. They can be empathetic and forgiving to someone doing wrong, and is very altruistic to the point they would share their nest and make themselves a new one than let a kit-mother and family of kits alone and cold. They don't like rocking the boat they were born into, but that leads to her last trait: They're a good liar. If they are distressed, they will lie and say they are fine. If they're asked if they hate someone, they'll shake their head even if they are seething behind their fur. They're so paralyzed about making things more complicated for others that they'll give them a sugared down version to keep everything peaceful, even at their own sake.

History
Hare that Listens for Danger and Puddle that Reflects the Stars were two star-crossed lovers. Meeting as young kits and growing up together, Hare knew that he'd fallen head over tail for Puddle. He took her out to the edge of the island during the night, when the stars reflected in the water, and confessed his longtime feelings. Puddle accepted and they became mates, having their nest nearby the same place he confessed his love.
Skulk was born with her three other siblings, and early on Puddle imparted much of her deep spiritual nature upon them, with Skulk becoming the most avid listener of their mother's stories. From their very reserved and closed off nature, they had many acquaintances but still no real friends. They were still close to their siblings, and had a pact to keep together til the end.
They otherwise had an average kithood and made their way to To-Be without much incident.
