Nettlesting
ThistleClan
short and skinny ruddy tom with green eyes
warrior
male
19 moons
Appearance
Nettle- Named after a dried nettle stalk, signifying the status of plants during the season of his birth.
Nettlesting is a great fit for the lifestyle of ThistleClan. The tom is built like is to be expected; he is small, lithe, and full of angular features. His bones seem to be poking out from his skinny frame found year-round and not just leafbare. He carries himself with an air of arrogance despite his small stature to a point where he almost seems taller. His paws are disproportionately large for his frame, perfect for digging.
His pelt is a ruddy color, mainly brown with hints of red. The darkest brown is found on the top of his head down his spine and tail. The brown gradiates to the reddish brown of his paws and stomach. Between the two shades is a tan brown. Nettlesting's chest is a pale tan, reaching to halfway down his stomach. The dark brown caps his tail, frequently used to exaggerate his snarky words.
The warrior's face seems to be stuck in a permanent scowl. Angular and harsh, it is a nod to the Siamese heritage of ThistleClan. Unlike the more pure Siamese cats, his face is adorned with slightly tabby features- a bright tan surrounds his eyes and spikes up to create a brighter face. His maw and lower jaw is a creamy white- the most noticeable feature of Nettlesting. The eyes that are continuously being rolled is a pale leaf green.

Personality
-sting Turns out, Nettle- was a perfect prefix. Gifted the suffix -sting upon the completion of his training, Nettlesting was named after his stinging words and remarks.
Humerus: Luckily dark humor and sarcastic whit is accepted in ThistleClan, or else Nettlesting would be in deep trouble. Always cracking jokes - at other cat's expense - that often incites laughter from those who hear. The warrior can make a joke about any situation.
Meticulous: Possibly the best thing about the tom is his meticulous nature. He is careful with all of his actions and does not like charging into a situation without carefully planning it out. Because of this, he often thinks of small details others forget. Logic and patterns comes easy to him. His den reflects this- carefully planned to be both functional, comfortable, and cooler than the rest.
Arrogant: Nettlesting thinks he's the best and there's really no convincing him otherwise. His den is the best, his hunting skills are unmatched, and he could slice up any warrior he desires. Of course, the only thing that he arguably exceeds in is his den making skills, as his other skills are average compared to his clanmates. It's his way or the highway, and you can get with the program or you are wrong.
Rude: Though pretty funny sometimes, it's often at the cats around him's expense. Nettlesting has no filter and does not hesitate to insult someone even if it is not necessary or true. He simply does not care about many cat's feelings and finds being filterless easier than filtered. This even extends to Gatherings, causing some heated words from cats from the other clans.
Other Notable Traits:
- Narcissistic
- Secret Romantic
- Lacking morals
- Calculating
- Independent/self-reliant

History
Nettlekit was greeted into the world with a cold, hard shoulder. A truly unfair start to the soon-to-be calloused kit's life. His father, presumably unhappy with his growing presence in his mother's womb, never existed and faded off into the clan upon the discovery of his conception. His mother, Violetwing, never uttered the name of the deadbeat father and never would as she died in her birthing nest. An orphan from birth, Nettlekit started as an outsider even in a clan. Bounced around from one queen's nest to the next, Nettlekit had to fight for every scrap of attention he received. It did not escape him that he was being cared for to increase clan size, not because he was loved by a mother.
Nettlepaw's apprentice ceremony was an average one. Nobody cheered his name particularly loud. The lasting implications of fighting for survival since birth became evident. The tom's snarky personality quickly became a troublesoem storm in trainings, unchecked by a mostly absent mentor named Bristletail. Left to his own devices once again, Nettlepaw created his own nasty fighting techniques by studying how cats moved. The goal? Injure them so badly and so quickly they couldn't fight any more. One day, he dreamed of testing out the moves he so carefully recorded in his mind on a RedwoodClan warrior- those much bigger and stronger than he ever could be. His morals became nearly non-existent as he realized he was the only one that could ever hurt him.
During this time, another apprentice caught his eye. With a mouth like his, snarky and stinging, he filed her away as his mate in the future. He left her alone, mainly, besides careful interactions where he spat even the vilest of comments. That's how you get a woman to like you, right? Venompaw... Even her name was perfect. Nettlepaw had a crush.
Upon the usual time an apprentice is aged into a warrior, Nettlepaw became Nettlesting for his lashing remarks. It made him proud, and he sneered at what was to come for this clan that had all but kicked him out and rejected him. He spent the next few moons caring for himself and building his den. Behind a carefully hidden face, Nettlesting was pleased one day to find Venomjaw build her den near his. Still too uncharacteristically shy, Nettlesting did not approach and instead, kicked dirt into her den whenever he passed.
