The discovery of the valley was a day of joy for the Clans, and brought energy and excitement back into their sunken eyes. The foliage was dense and glowed under the sunlight, and the bubbling of clean water filled their ears. They sang along with the fat birds hopping through the branches.
The Clan leaders, surveying the valley from the peak of the bluffs in the valley moorlands, began to establish where they wanted their territory to be. Patrols were organized to seek out suitable places for new camps, to mark new borders, and begin the building of dens.
This place was terrifyingly new, but as they glanced up at a darkening sky, and the flecks of starlight appearing above their heads, they knew they would make it home.
