Burrowshine
redwoodclan
chunky golden brown ticked tabby with yellow eyes
warrior
she-cat
22 moons
Appearance
Burrowshine bears the most inviting exterior, plush, chubby and warm in colors. She carries a mystical pinkish yellow hue, as fae as her aura and as shimmering as the sun. Given her prefix for her golden brown pelt, ticked with black brindleing that resembled dirt or earth, as well as perhaps her rabbit-esque features. She is a stocky she-cat, legs on the shorter side but very brawny. She's a good fighter, with a defensive build that makes for a stalwart opponent.
Entirely filled out, whether it be in muscle, fat, or fur texture, she appears to be plump and round. Her cheeks are a perfect circular shape, and with her accompanying smiles she perfectly pulls off that youthfully jolly trope. Sunny yellow eyes are the centerpiece of her round face, along with a salmon pink nose that twitches often.

Personality
+ Compassionate - Burrowshine is resoundingly caring and warmhearted. Her suffix was given for the joy and love she exudes for her clan mates, providing friendship and aid wherever she is needed. She doesn't go out of her way to be liked or be overly cheery, she just has a natural sunniness that draws others in. She's confident and doesn't really care what the others think of her, her main goal is to be happy and be there for everyone, regardless of their feelings towards her at the time.
+ Vehement - When it comes to things she really cares about, Burrowshine is nothing short of fiery. She's competitive, determined, and will do anything she can to prove herself. Being short and stocky, she's often underestimated. This doesn't really bother her though, she's spent countless hours training and would happily beat the smile off anyone who tries to make fun of her build and size. She may be a known jester and joy bringer, but she's also a known fighter.
+ Loyal - While she does have compassion for more than just her clan, RedwoodClan and the will of StarClan have always been where her responsibilities and loyalties lie. She would risk her life for her clan, because she believes in the heart each and every one of her clan mates. She is devout in StarClan and their influence on not just the cats that walk the apostles, but also nature and the world around her. She follows the rules to the best of her ability, only slipping up should the rules and traditions endanger anyone she loves.
- Lackadaisical - Now Burrowshine gives her best for her clan and is notorious for spending hours out sparring in the woods, but it can't be said that she goes out of her way to do anything else. Beyond what she feels is her duty to her clan; she likes to eat, she likes to sleep, and any work that seems over strenuous or unnecessary she will happily try to avoid. She likes to call it being 'laid-back', but in reality she does have a bit of a loafing streak.
- Grouchy - Burrowshine is generally a ball of sunshine, but when the sun goes beyond the horizon it's best not to cross her. She'll use her normally friendly wit to get you to leave her alone, and very much values her sleeping time. The groggy hours of the day often leave her in a bad mood, and she can be rather prickly at those times. Outside of the warriors den she's all grins, but those who sleep around her nest know she'll proverbially bite your head off.
~ Humorous - Burrowshine is lighthearted and loves to joke around. She prefers levity, and while she is empathetic and comforting, she also often tries to make light in dark situations. She'll throw in quips, sarcasm, a laugh or a smile in order to brighten the mood and make everyone happy. Or to simply go make herself happy, which is almost always a goal of hers.

History
Burrowkit was born to curious circumstances, a medicine cat relieving himself on his duties to raise a family, and passing on his title to his sister. Some of the clan wouldn't think too kindly of it, but regardless he was a loving father and mate. He and his mate bore three kits, of them only two survived; a golden brown tabby and a silvery white tabby, Burrowkit and Silk-kit. Both had the softest fur, Burrowkit's mother would say they were like cuddling with clouds.
Even as a kit, Burrowkit was a bit of a laze. She preferred eating and sleeping to romping around like the others in the nursery. That didn't put a damper on those times when she did play, full of energy and boundless cheer. She was cheeky, jolly and competitive when she did play along. Like her sister, she grew up with great interest in medicine and herbs, hoping to one day learn what her father and aunt knew.
Growing up with faith in StarClan, and a deep connection to the earth, Burrowkit took her father's passing relatively well. She was still young, and it certainly stung, but she held to her optimism, imagining him in every flower that bloomed and star that shone. She knew he was with her, and that's what mattered. She developed a 'live in the moment' attitude after he passed, choosing not to dwell on those past.
Burrowkit became Burrowpaw, and had a rather normal and happy apprenticeship. With support from her sister and mother, and frequent visits to her aunt, she had a solid base to build on in terms of relationships and knowledge. She made friends easily in the apprentice den, and in her training she excelled at fighting. She filled out small but strong, a wall of brawn (and chub) against her enemies, and made for a great defensive fighter.
As she grew into a warrior and earned the name Burrowshine, things in RedwoodClan began to heat up. With tensions rising concerning LichenClan, and the discovered existence of the Tribe, Burrowshine had a lot to think about. She took it day by day, protecting and providing for her clan as well as adjusting to changes. The biggest change came when LichenClan attacked. She fought as hard as she could, and did until the fight was over. It wasn't till then that she learned her mother was critically wounded, and passed away.
That was a very hard day for the little optimist. She struggled with her ideals, her sunniness and good cheer, but ultimately landed on the notion that her mom was again with her father in StarClan. She blossomed with him in the new-leaf buds, and twinkled bright by his star. The incident drew her Silkfeather, and even Orchidshade closer, the three girls were the whole family now, and they would share as much love as they could.
Despite searching for the good in everyone, Burrowshine does harbor some viciously vengeful emotions towards LichenClan. She frequently asks to be put on the patrol at their border, determined to ensure nothing of the sort ever happens in their camp again.
