RedwoodClan
a light gray tabby tom with blue eyes
apprentice
Tom
6 moons
Appearance
a light gray tabby tom with blue eyes
Olivepaw is a rather small and timid tom who stands much shorter than most other ctas his age. He does not hold himself confidently either, and tends to shrink with his tail close to the ground.
His downy appearance speaks directly to his equally soft personality. Olivepaw has a light gray tabby pelt which becomes darker toward the tail and face. Faint tabby stripes are visible across his back and chest, but are more prominent in darker areas of his body.He holds a pair of pale blue-gray eyes that give him a dreamy or aloof expression. His dark gray ears are larger than expected, making them his most noticeable feature. His fur is short and downy, resembling that of a baby goose.

Personality
observant - tactful - shy - passive - reticent
Olivepaw has a personality that makes him easily bullied by other apprentices. Along with his small side, Olivepaw is timid, withdrawn, and painfully shy. He is incredibly reticent and does not share his thoughts with others or even exchange formalities. From kithood, his parents had wondered if there was something wrong with him, or if he was somewhat of a sociopath. However, Olivepaw has never given too much thought to these comments and feels that he is simply quieter than most cats. He tends to stutter when talking, trail off softly, or talk inaudibly.
Olivepaw is capable of making friends, albeit slowly. He requires a lot of patience and proactive engagement because he himself is not a proactive cat. He does not seek others out or know how to, but does crave the attention and affection of other cats. In exactly this manner, Morningpaw has been a great friend to him as a proactive source of energy and affection. Olivepaw is a passive cat who allows life to continue with or without him and occasionally wishes he was naturally more outgoing, like his sister. He will attempt to imitate her at times with little success. During his apprenticeship, he has indeed made significant progress toward becoming more sociable.
His reticence and shyness are major areas that Olivepaw struggles with, but Olivepaw does have several redeeming qualities. He is a cat who is constantly unfazed. No cat really knows if Olivepaw really feels anything, as he has approached his training with a motivation and fearlessness that shocks his Clanmates.
Additionally, he is incredibly observant and sharp. While older warriors are sure this would be an asset to him later on, Olivepaw mainly uses it to understand other cats around him. While not good at managing his own feelings, Olivepaw is very good at supporting his loved ones. He is known for handling situations in a tactful manner, often mediating fights between his parents with a quiet and understanding voice. He stays true to his loved ones and friends, a valuable and intelligent companion during times of trial.

History
MOTHER: Emberdawn - adoptable
FATHER: Stormhawk - adoptable
SISTER: Morningpaw - adoptable
AUNT: Whiteshadow - played by duchess
AUNT: Kestrelpounce - adoptable
Olivekit and Morningkit were born to Emberdawn and Stormhawk. The two were inseparable from birth despite being polar opposites. Morningkit was excitable and outgoing while Olivekit was withdrawn and reticent from the start. However, Emberdawn was the first to notice Olivekit's slowness and questioned at first whether he had a developmental problem. However, in time, she and the rest of the Clan realized that Olivekit simply had an exceedingly shy personality. He was also sickly, constantly contracting colds and coughs even in good weather.
As a kit, Olivekit was usually reluctant to play with anyone but Morningkit and his parents. Emberdawn and Stormhawk provided admittedly good support, and Olivekit generally tried his best to step out of his comfort zone and please his parents. But this did not change the fact that he was cautious, hated trying new things, and preferred to stay inside most of the time. He became rather good friends with his aunt Kestrelpounce, but received quite a huge shock when his other aunt Whiteshadow gave him the cold shoulder. As of now, he is too young to understand his aunt's resentment.
Olivekit was anxious about becoming an apprentice. It meant he would have to go out of the safety of the camp. As Olivepaw, he exchanges few words with other apprentices and thus relies heavily on Morningpaw heavily as a best friend and sister.
